When you think of a farmhouse in the nature, surrounded by rolling hills, a variety of tree species, in an unspoiled location, then you are probably thinking of something like this. This farmhouse is positioned in one of the most scenic locations in region Marche, surrounded by rolling hills and olive groves. The main building features for the façade a match of original bricks and plaster. The total area of the building is 350 sq.m. over 3 floors for a total of 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The ground floor is characteristic by a number of French-windows, which allow people to move easily from each room of the house out to the garden. The living area features two big and bright rooms, connected via 3 squared arches, that mirror 3 small windows –all in a perfect geometry. Three steps lead up to a corridor, which connects to the 3 spacious double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom. On the same floor there are also a guest bathroom, as well as a useful laundry room. This floor is mainly used as an accommodation area, with the guests’ bedrooms, while the living areas are used as breakfast room and sitting area. Thanks to the external staircase –in addition to the internal staircase –the first floor is completely independent, thus used as the private area for the owners. Here a fully-equipped kitchen is set and the dining/relaxing area overlooks the rolling hills. On the two opposite sides of the living area, you can find 4 private bedrooms, two of which with a mezzanine, which can lodge additional beds. For these 4 bedrooms, there are 2 bathrooms. Being rebuilt from scratch, this house gives the privilege of living inside an old, traditional shell with all modern comforts, as a matter of facts, the house was rebuilt over 30 poles, thus making it super solid, especially against earthquakes. The foundations are ventilated, to avoid damp problems. The roof is insulated and thus keeping a constant temperature in the house. Last but not least, a 3 kW photovoltaic system provides clean energy to the house.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a mature garden of 4.000 sq.m. with 90 olive trees, which produce –according to the season –around 200 kg of organic olive oil. Thanks to its position, from all sides you can enjoy lovely views over the rolling hills. Same for the windows on the upper floor. Building a pool is possible. The location of this farmhouse is what mainly made the current owners fall in love with it. In fact, although not on the top of a hill, the valley opens completely in front of the house, revealing the gentle multi color hills typical of region Marche. As a matter of facts, according to the season and the type of cultivation, the colors here change continuously. The other great advantage is that, despite being immersed in the gentle and immaculate Marche countryside, in just 10 minutes you can reach Jesi, which is one of the largest towns in the province of Ancona, where you can find all kinds of services, as well as delicious restaurants. Jesi is popular for being the birthplace of Frederick II of Swabia, with a strong cultural connotation (there are many museums and events in town) and for its strategic position halfway between the sea and the mountains. This farmhouse gives you freedom to go and live there immediately with your family and then decide if you want to start a B&B business. Or the opposite, of course! In fact, this farmhouse -thanks to its internal layout -allows you to use it both as a family home and as a B&B with a private area for the owners. The external staircase gives reserved access to the owners on the upper floor, while guests can always enjoy their privacy on the ground floor. The construction of a swimming pool will make the farmhouse even more attractive, especially for tourists coming from outside Italy.
